ABOUT SEMINARS IN ARTHRITIS AND RHEUMATISM

The Seminars in Arthritis and Rheumatism provides a broad interpretation of the field, including aspects of general medicine and orthopedics. Each bimonthly issue presents comprehensive review articles focusing on topics in rheumatology. It is of interest to rheumatologists, internal medicine specialists, orthopedic surgeons, immunologists and specialists in bone and marrow metabolism.

The National Public Health Agenda for Osteoarthritis

Leadership from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Arthritis Foundation (AF) initiated a collaboration to address ways to reduce the public health burden of osteoarthritis. This collaboration led to the creation of The National Public Health Agenda for Osteoarthritis. An executive summary of this report can be found in the March-April 2010 issue of Seminars in Arthritis and Rheumatism.
